Bringing psychoanalytic treatment to young people and their families
ICAPP Clinical Series
The PCC’s Infant, Child, and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Program committee (ICAPP) is proud to present its Fall/Winter/Spring 2025-2026 Clinical Series which meets on Zoom on various Sunday mornings throughout the year.
This year’s clinical series is entitled:
WORKING ANALYTICALLY WITH YOUNG PEOPLE FROM EARLY CHILDHOOD TO ADOLESCENCE AND UNDERSTANDING THE EARLIEST DEVELOPMENT OF PRIMITIVE STATES OF PSYCHE-SOMA
Clinical cases and papers concerning child psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy will be presented by faculty members and post-seminar candidates. The therapist will show how psychoanalytic principles and theory underlie our approach to the treatment of children with varied emotional, social, and behavioral problems.
If you are considering working with children, adolescents, and families join us and learn about ways of treating primitive and early states of mind and relationships in the clinical setting. If you are already working with young children, children and families come and share your experiences with us. There will be time for discussion and questions with each presentation.
