In Part 1, Meg Harris Williams shares her personal experience with Donald Meltzer both as a child patient and then many years later as a writing partner. She provides an overview of his key contributions to psychoanalysis in preparation for Part 2 where she explores his contributions related to the Aesthetic Conflict and Catastrophic Change. Jennifer Kunst moderates.
